Ingredients:
For the Beef Patties:
-
450 g ground beef
-
1 tsp Italian seasoning
-
Salt, to taste
-
Black pepper, to taste
For the Pizza Toppings:
-
250 ml marinara sauce
-
170 g shredded mozzarella cheese
-
Assorted pizza toppings (e.g., pepperoni slices, black olives, bell pepper chunks)
For Serving:
-
4 hamburger buns
Instructions:
-
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently to avoid overworking the meat.
-
Divide the mixture into four equal portions, shaping each into a patty about 1.5 cm thick.
-
Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
-
While the patties cook, split the buns and toast the cut sides in another pan over medium heat until golden brown.
-
Once the patties are done, spoon marinara sauce over each patty, followed by mozzarella cheese and your chosen pizza toppings. Cover the pan for 2-3 minutes to melt the cheese.
-
Place the cooked patties with melted cheese and toppings onto the toasted buns. Serve hot and enjoy!
