Crispy Air Fryer Pork Belly Bites
Ingredients
-
1½ pounds pork belly, patted dry and cut into 1-inch cubes
-
3 tablespoons canola oil
-
1 tablespoon brown sugar
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1 teaspoon kosher salt
-
1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
-
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
-
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the oil, brown sugar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
-
Add the pork belly cubes to the bowl and toss to evenly coat each piece with the seasoning mixture.
-
Arrange the pork belly in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding — work in batches if needed depending on the size of your air fryer.
-
Cook for 18–20 minutes, shaking the basket or flipping the pork belly pieces every 6–7 minutes to ensure even crisping.
-
When the bites are golden, crispy, and caramelized on the outside, remove them from the air fryer.
-
Serve hot and enjoy!
Tip: Cooking time may vary based on the size of your pork belly pieces and your specific air fryer model, so keep an eye on them during the final few minutes.
